Vanderbilt Marsh will be represented with at least 1 Parker team! Look forward to shaking hands with all.

Cold Spring
Thank you for supporting the Ruffed Grouse Society & the CNY RGS habitat fund raising sxs efforts. I am sorry your SXS shoot concerns remain unresolved: -RESHOOTS: Meaning to shoot again & again for a better score? Our shoots have not & do not allow a same class competitor to shoot for more than one score. An individual may contribute & compete in more than one class.(12g - 28ga - 410). SPORTING CLAYS COMPETITIONS: Guidelines for events like the Hunters Tour outlines steps for shooting two guns (gauges/classes) consecutively. CNY RGS has had fund raising sporting clays events over the years & the July event regularly brings individuals shooting several gauges/class entries (12, 28, 410). -FLYER: Similar to last year - the available class entries are listed & an individual is not restricted from multiple class entries. We believe providing a 100 bird event, an all you can eat steak dinner & the opportunity for Grouse / double gun enthusiast to get together while raising funds to improve habitat for all in NYS is a sound value. I hope I have provided a more clear understanding regarding the SXS event. Sincerely Ed |

Simple solution, do away with the prizes/awards. Heck, you can even throw out the score cards. Very little to fret over except to enjoy a day shooting the guns you like, mingle with people of a like mindset, and support a worthy organization. It is a RGS benefit shoot!
