Serial Number Check

Good Morning I was hoping someone could help me out. I have a newly acquired 1899 VH 12ga in a #2 frame with 4lb barrels and I was wondering if someone could run the serial number for me. I can’t seem to find my book. I am suspecting the barrels have been cut because they measure a shade under 26inches. The serial number is 94169. Thank you very much.
