Default gunsmith in Midcoast Maine

I have just purchased a VH 2000xx from the descendant of the original owner, with mirror bores, 40% case, some exterior barrel rust, pretty original. Popping the doll's head revealed a rusty goo covering the parts. It mopped off with Qtips and Hoppe's, but just needs a good cleaning of all interior parts. Does anyone know a qualified gunsmith in the Midcoast region of Maine who they know would do a good job on this kind of work, please? Looking for reasonable turn around, and reasonable rates from a person who has had their own Parker worked on by that person. Thanks!

Conrad, there is one in Portsmouth NH. Call my cell and I can give you name and number 603 330 0592. Others may know of one mid coast.

The gunsmith in Portsmouth, will he work anything or just shotguns? I'm looking for a competent gunsmith in that area. The peep sight on a 1920's era custom rifle need some work.

Conrad,
Welcome to the Parker club! I am in Bangor and have nearly completely overhauled my Parker. I could more than likely give you assistance. Let me know.

Sean
