Default Greetings from the Darke & Bloody Ground.

My name is Tom Black from Kentucky an I have an addiction...classic old guns. There, I feel better already. Seriously, I am a life long native of western Kentucky, hunted all my life, dearly love the woods and fields. Most of my hunting is done with a flintlock rifle or some form of pre'64 Winchester. I have a profound weakness for Model 70's and the early lever actions. I've been lurking in the shadows of this board for a while, looks like a pretty decent place too. I have the opportunity to buy a nice old Parker an it will be the subject of my second post.
Anyway, thanks ahead of time.

Welcome Tom. I too hail from The Dark and Bloody Ground. I live in Northern Kentucky. Another couple members are from your neck of the woods, Dave Tatman and Mike Cowles. Every now and then a group of us Parker guys get together and shoot around of clays. Get your gun and join us.
