Default Question on Skeet 20 gauge

A friend bought a Parker 20 gauge Remington gun. It is Skeet configured, but marked Skeet In Skeet In.
Has anyone ever observed a Parker marked this way?

Not I Phil, that’s an odd one for sure.

Dean, Your 28ga Skeet gun is a Remington gun, correct? How is it marked?

I have not seen the barrel markings but have asked for a picture. I will share once I receive it.

Yes it is Edgar but it has no choke markings even though both PGCA and G&H letters both confirm it is a Skeet gun and not a ‘Skeet configured’ gun. The chokes are rt. .015” and l. .007”.

Phil, there are Parker skeet guns with Skeet In markings on both barrels. An example is the AHE .410 sold several years ago in Pennsylvania. I believe Dean may have some pictures of that gun.

So, one of us owns it. Great Parker, maybe the greatest. The Abercrombie ledger says Skeet In and Skeet Out, but the gun says Skeet In and Skeet In.
