Tim, thanks for the information. I truly love my 16 too, I'm trying to find one for my hunting partner. He doesn't mind a lightly used gun, but I think your gun may be a little too "experienced" for him. If I could show him a photo of a stock repair that is not noticeable, he might consider it. If you have the time, photos could help him decide. Thanks, Bill

To find a nice gun it will be pricy....do you want DT gun? chokes? Deals do come once in a while...the three barrel set that I sold for a friend was one of them! He lost money on that gun....he wanted it sold ASAP and took the loss. It was a SST-SG-SF with some use on it. He paid 9K and sold it for 8K locally to a cash buyer. Thanks all SXS ohio...(-:

Thanks Tim, he took a look and said he would pass on this one.
We are looking for a match to his 28, single trigger, English stock, splinter forend, rather have IC and Mod on the 16 barrel but will take what is found. Regular wear with no repaired wood is required. The Kriegoff barrel is a must. The one advertised on Guns International is an unmarked 16 barrel according to the seller, maker unknown. Bill |

Kenny, I know a nice 16 will be up there but that is what he wants. It will be shot and handed down so he wants it to be the best he can find. If you run into something please let me know. Thanks, Bill
