Default 2 barrel set question

Was it common for the 2 barrel sets of 28 ga to have a forearm for each set of barrels, such as 1 splinter and 1 beaver tail?

No, it is uncommon to find them with find two forends, one for each set of barrels---but they are out there.

It is common for the 28/.410 bi-gauge sets to have two forends, one for each set of barrels. (If you can call these sets common.)

Default 2 barrel set question

After some searching of previous threads, I see the gun in question was discussed earlier in the summer and was listed on guns international as it is now. Why has this gun not sold and what am I missing. Is the non matching serial numbers that big of a discrepancy? It appears to be a pretty good price on a rare set. Any input appreciated.
