Default Reproduction 12 gauge question

I've noticed some Reproduction 12-gauges for sale list barrels as both 2 3/4 & 3".

I thought only the Steel Shot Special were 3". Please help clarify.

Thank You, Jim

You are likely seeing the 12ga. Repros with barrels stamped as having 2 3/4" & 3" chambers are all 28" long. It's been reported here that all 12ga. Repros with 28" barrels (regardless if only stamped 2 3/4") all have 3" chambers. I do not recall any 12ga. Repros with 26" barrels having 3" chambers, but that's not to say they don't exist as we have learned to say "Never, say never" in the Parker world.
