All well and good and some others express the same opinion however, the BOD is the body that decides these issues, not individuals. This is only one very small reason why this organization has and needs a concerned and dedicated Board of Directors - and we have one very good BOD.

As we know there are no more issues having a Parker sales section on this website then than having one we already have in Parker Pages. Right now, I have a few Parkers to divest, I would sooner see PGCA folks buy them but once they are on Gunbroker or I drop them off at a friendly dealer (if I ever get around to it...) anyone can buy them and likely for more money than I would have sold them for privately. This is a question only the oligarchs of the PGCA can answer.

Dear gawd....

I just came back from work and checked the Forum.. For a minute - I thought I was reading a NATIONAL ENQUIRER Headline... "...NEWSBREAK - Dunkle Sees No Problem With Gun Sales..."

What the heck??? A couple of things....

First - I've posted my views previously...

Secondly - I have no idea what was originally posted, as it's deleted, BUT if anything was posted from my private conversations with anyone & at any time, I will be less than thrilled...

Third - The PGCA BOD has a thankless job. They don't get paid. They rarely get any appreciation for the "heavy lifting" and let's be honest - get "a ration" regardless of any issue.

Fourth - it has been my "job" to relay to the BOD how we can utilize technology to meet the needs of the organization, its Members and those directions. Indeed - perhaps it has been I that has failed at accomplishing that.

Fifth - posts and threads like this accomplish nothing except to "re-open" a sore wound while both the doctors (BOD) and the "patient" (Members of PGCA) look at the best course of "treatment". And I can - and will tell you - that many would like to believe that the doctors and the patients aren't consulting. They are - and we have been - and like medicine, technology is an evolution - NOT a revolution....

BUT, as soon as "Enquireresque" Headlines pop up dripping "Scandle Sex Sells"...

Most lose interest...

I know I do...

And if I were a member of the BOD, I know I would as well..

The one - single truth is - quite frankly....

Without the PGCA INCLUDING the BOD - none of us would be here, on this site to begin with - and many of us wouldn't ever have had the opportunity to meet, become friends and hunting partners...

Thanks for reading.

John
