Hi John,
Was looking at a local person if possible, not sure that I want to ship, to insure at what value even to ship, round and round it goes. Had it inspected today by top end dealer (does not deal with Parker's) noted not refinished etc, could only offer up the blue book as a ref. To add, I understand the forum rules about sales but the above is one of the very reasons for asking for help, what do you put as a value when shipping your gun to a seller/auction house/inspector, list goes on, if it takes a walk. Eyes on, yes.Parker letter notes it's a Parker (authenticated) Best Regards, Dean Last edited by Dean Brevit; 11-24-2009 at 10:42 PM.. |

I had enough problems collecting on $500 electronics damaged during shippments few years back. I would not ship it. I would not check it in if flying. I would take week off or what is needed from work and drive. But this is just me.

Dean, if your truely from Yanceyville, N.C. I would drive down to Mid South Guns in Wagram, N.C. see Philip Futrell, he'll give you a fair evaluation of your gun, but don't take my word for it call him at 910-369-2370.

Dean, I agree with Gil if you are semi close go talk to Phil, he is fair and sells enough Parkers to give you a fair market evaluation. And I agree with the rest I hate shipping guns
