Default Weatherby Athena D'Italia (Fausti)

Anyone familiar with the choke tubes on these guns? I picked one of these up so I would have something if Ct. went to a lead shot ban. According to all the choke tube interchange guides I could find online it should take the Browning Invector, Winchester, Mossberg 500 style tube. So like the dimwit I am I ordered 3 tubes before I had the gun in hand. The invectors are about a inch and a half in length and the tubes in the gun are about a inch and three quarters long. Anyone know what tube these guns take?

If it were me I'd try calling Weatherby and seeing if they could shed light on the situation .

A second option might be to send it to Orlan and maybe he can tell you what will work .

Mr. Higgins I just got off the phone with Steve Allen the fellow that runs Fausti USA . He said to tell you he may be able to get chokes for you . He said give you the shop number and give him a call (540)371-3287 .

Just spoke with Steve Allen at Fausti USA and he said he would look into getting me some choke tubes. He said the tubes in my gun were proprietary not Invectors that all guides said. Anybody need 2 skeet and one IC invector tube?

Still no word from Fausti. I guess I will have to send a tube to Briley which means not being able to use it until I get the tubes back.
