Default Hunting with Spiller

Ron McDonald and I spent the day afield with Bert Spilller. Bert didn't photograph well, but Ron did

Best, Austin

Good looking cover Austin. That sure wasn't Saturday now was it! Spiller Country for sure though - looks like Peaked Mountain, is it?

Any birds in the bag? Not that a day's success is measured by the weight of the bag - birds missed are as much "frosting on the cake" as those admired in hand and slipped almost regretfully into the back of the vest - just thought I'd ask though. Dean

For those who do not know, Ron McDonald is our Tasmanian member and is spending a few days with Austin before he heads west. Next week, with Pete Kappes or Greg Dershem and then on the 11th will meet us in SoDak for pheasant hunting. After that, on to Calif to spend some time with Ron Garrido.
