i agree colts were not cheap guns..they are as well made as any gun...but no better than any good name gun...but seems like parker bros have a place in all double gun lovers hearts... charlie

My buddy bought a Colt hammer gun at Tulsa I belive it was a 78 It came with a letter. I was standing beside him being supportive helping him make a yes decision now at least I got somebody with a cool shotgun to hunt with. He shot a couple of my short 10's to see if it worked now if he would just get Parkeritis I'm trying to infect him. Hammers cock like glass. Letter says it was a special grade with a 1.25 extra ingraving not much ingraving on it, with 32 inch barrles got nice wood needs some restoration.

what colts i have seen usally have not had much engraving...my colt 10 ga is a nice gun it is a hammerless gun and it doesnot have much engraving...one of the best orginal damascus guns i ever saw was a hammer colt... charlie
