I feel I should buy one more next week but I know of nothing I want that I’m willing to pay the price to add to my ever changing accumulation .

Thank You Mills , I'm surprised you didn't see it ,it was on Gun Broker started at $99.00 and ran for seven days ! The seller never mentioned it being a 1/2 Frame gun but showed clear pictures of that fact but it must have been over looked by many as there ended up with only a half dozen different bidders and only one who had as much interest as I had and ran it up considerably from the $99.00 Starting point at the end of the auction as is normal ! I contacted the Gentleman right away ,as soon as I saw the listing and we discussed the gun via text and e-mail he sent pictures etc., I explained the fact it was a 1/2 Frame which didn't seem to matter much to him , he owned a Gun Shop / Toy Store was in his mid eighties and going out of business !

Not a Parker, but I bought an Ithaca NID Grade 3 Super Ten from a member here. I'm thrilled with the gun as it is in high original condition. Hope to let her loose on some Arkansas green heads after the first of the year.

Christmas came early for me ..............

What a wonderful gun, Stan. Good luck on your Arkansas hunt.

Nice Ithaca Stan. I like the 3 better than the 4 personally.

I had an Ithaca NID Grade 2 Super 10 we’d owned for over forty years and let it go about two months ago .

No new Parkers, but my friend Edgar turned me on to a beautiful set of orphan 20 ga 28"Twist steel barrels for a hammer gun. They required very little fitting on my O frame 16 ga hammer gun , and look great. They probably have been opened up, but I like them that way.
I did pick up a Dickinson 28 ga with 30" barrels , choke tubes, and a 14 7/8 LOP, 5 3/4 lbs. I shot it well in the UP this year and shot some pheasants with it also. Parker friend Kenny Graft turned me on to that one.

I was slow to buy or sell anything this year. Had some medical issues to address so my mind was elsewhere but in the coming year I hope to pick up a nice 28 ga sxs. Would be nice if it is an original Parker Bros but a Repro 28 would do nicely or Fox 28. I do have a nice Beretta 28 ga o/u that I enjoy shooting but I have the same scourge that most of us have and just want a sxs. When I get the 28 ga sxs, I'll get rid of the Beretta.

Allen, I hope all your medical issues are behind you and that you find the right 28. I have several, but only one Parker. They are all bird slayers.

Xmas came early this year, got this Parker 2 weeks ago at a small gun show. Its a 20ga VHE with 30 inch barrels. Was restored by someone 30+ years ago said the seller. Weight of 6lb 8oz full and full with 2 7/8 inch chambers. Haven't shot it yet but it feels great with 14 1/4 - 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 just as letter says, only thing not in letter was the chambers at 2 7/8.
