Hello,
I have 16GA with Damascus barrels that are stamped nitro proofed, ser no is 230684, gun is in 95% cond, dates at 1912. Are they dam or fluid with pattern?

They are real Damascus.

They have the Damascus pattern, just wondering about the nitro proof on the lug.

This is a "NITRO POWDER PROVED" 1911 Gr. 1 Flues with Twist barrels and the 'HRF' mark of the Belgian tube maker Heuse Riga Fils



NO U.S. maker supplied Faux Damascus barrels for their doubles

Yes Sir, that looks like mine, bought the gun about38 yrs ago almost looks new except for some fading of color. Never shot it.
