I talked with the seller about his listing the first day...his add does not mentioning the fact that the makers case is not there. I advized him to make a note of this and add it to his description but he never did.....He does not want bidders to know its not there. The winner may not even know till after he wins and gun is shiped without it....bummer. Other than that seems like a nice gun. thanks all SXS ohio....(-:

It just sold for $4401.01 without a case or cover. Add another $300.00 to $ 400.00 for a case & cover "if you can find one" and this becomes a $4800.00 gun.
Look's pretty close to market value for it to me! |

The Repros (Parker Reproduction by Winchester) were made in Japan under Winchester but the project was the brainchild of Tom Skeuse, owner of Reagent Chemical and was funded by him.

Bill,
Check out the Grades web page (go to www.parkerguns.org and click on the link "Parker Grades" in the list on the left side of the page) and read about them. Don't forget to click on the button "View Reproduction Literature" and look over the sales info they published. It should give you some good background information. Enjoy, Robin |
