I'am back with my 'wizzard ' english, but happy to say Hi to all of You.
Now, my question: where on the stock or any else part of the gun i can find the stock number. I saw that often, stock#3, stock#2 but can you explain me what that's mean.
Thanks to all and good night, Jud
If you mean the "serial number" of the gun itself, you will find it stamped on the inletting under the triggerguard. Carefully remove the screws and raise the guard and rotate it to the right. If the stock is a factory stock you will see a number usually 5-6 digits. This is the serial number and should match the numebr stamped on the gun's metal parts. You will also see a single digit. This the grade of the gun. For example last night I took apart a CH (Grade4) serial number 87238. Under the triggerguard was stamped 87238 and 4.
