8g SHOOTERS. We will still hold the 5-Stand event as is. I am toying with the idea of changing the field event from 30 birds to 50. What would you guys like to see on that 8g field event? I know what I'd want to shoot.

Can, let's say a fellow showed up and didn't own an 8 ga, he compete with a 20 or 28ga? Asking for a friend of course.

I thought you'd say that. I read somewhere where 3/4oz of shot is more than enough to break those soft targets there. That's just what my friend told me.

Big boys can handle 12+ lb guns.

I’m happy with 5 Stand and 30 on the course, or 50. You call it big Mike

now running out of venison tenderloin on Friday evening would be a big problem

We had to scrap all extra-curricular activities last year. We're hoping to get her cleared for them next week at the BMT Doc's office. If so, I'll be planning for this sole event and prob asking lotsa dumb questions (as usual) to get me in the know ahead of time. All the last year posts sounded like it was a ton of fun.
