Default David Trevallion

This may be the wrong forum for this announcement but...

Tomorrow, July 18th, is the 80th birthday of our good friend and stockmaker extrordinaire, David Trevallion.

David came to the USA in the early 1970's , having apprenticed since 1954 with James Purdey & Sons in London in the arts of several concentrations in gunmaking. He excelled at all of them but was especially fond of stockmaking, checkering and finishing.

Please wish David a Happy Birthday at dtrevallion@comcast.net

I would list his telephone number but my iPhone lost it's memory when it took a swim last week.

Dave did 3 Winchester .22 stocks for me when he was in Indianapolis. This was about 1979 or so. I still have 2 of them..and last year when I talked with him..he asked that I send him photos..A true craftsman ..and a gentleman..

Incidentally, David has a FB page that he probably goes to more often than his email or this forum.
