Default SSS

The likely next caretaker of this Steel Shot Special but I really think he is more proud of his first hip boots.
Looking forward to watching him enjoy the outdoor life.

He’ll grow into that SSS in time and the outdoor life as well, with your guidance and encouragement of course!

Great pic, I love the look on his face. You could always cut the stock for the little guy and keep the extension for replacement when he grows into it

Great picture, I would start him off with a nice 28 english stock repro with some 3/4 oz loads and then work him up to the SSS a little later.

Default CUT The STOCK???

No No No do not cut the stock! Get a temporary stock, once its cut there is no going back to original. Even worn with use is better that cutting it. We had a famous Client that cut the stock on a fantastic piece of wood for his grand child . Kid grew up a few years later and the stock came back for a re-glue.Looked really bad and the very wealthy father could have afforded a new stock said nope glue it up

Default Stock

Oh I would never do that, I took that comment as a joke. He will get gun when it is right time. He is my grandson and will have to pry out of my hands, when he is big enough to do that he will be ready to shoot it😁
