Default Hunting on Cape Cod

While this may be too late in the season to ask this question, but how many PGCA members take advantage of the 6 week pheasant/quail stocking season on Cape Cod? Close to where I live on the Cape, Mass Wildlife stocks pheasants on a 2000 acre WMA and down the road a little from that one they stock quail on a 900 acre WMA. I've only met one other PGCA member and we routinely hunt together. There are also several woodcock hot spots on both properties and this past Thursday that member's setter pointed 2. Would love to hook up with other PGCA members either before the stocking season ends Thanksgiving Day or next year. Let me know.

Tom, I wish I was closer to you (but not the East Coast) and could hunt with you in that beautiful landscape. That is a stunning photo, BTW. Good luck with your hunts, and think of us West of the Mississippi where there are not quite as many people.

"Good shooting" to you!

Tom, we have talked by phone about the Maine grouse situation and i know Allen having shot clays with him. This year is too late for me but i will contact you before next season. I would be happy just to watch the dogs work having aged out of getting another setter. Good luck the rest of the season.

I usually run the dogs there when we return to visit. Beautiful properties and a real asset in the otherwise pretty developed lower cape.

Its excellent cover. Tom has a wonderful setter and both he and his setter are a joy to hunt with.
