Default Handicapped Sub-Gauge Shoot at Rock Mountain

Coming up on Sunday, October 27, we will be hosting our annual Fall Handicapped Sub-Gauge Event. $30 for members, $35 for non-members, custom blue stone trophy for HOA shooter!

For those unfamiliar with the Handicapped Sub-Gauge, here's how it works- if you use a 12g O/U or semi-auto, your score stands. If you use a SxS or pump gun you get 5 birds. If you use a hammer gun you get 5 birds. If you use a 16g you get 3 birds, a 20g gets 5, a 28g gets 10 and a .410 gets 15!! Handicaps are cumulative. A .410 SxS hammer gun gets 25 birds!! A 16g pump gets 8. A 28g O/U gets 10. Got it?

See y'all soon at www.rockmountainclays.com

Mike, sorry I won't be able to make this time. Hopefully in the spring shoot.

Due to the rains coming on 10/27, we are rescheduling the shoot to 11/3. The forecast is looking awesome for next weekend!

Aw Nuts!! I'll be in Vermont looking for woodcock that weekend with my VHE 28 gauge....

Hey - I walk with a limp and trip a lot in the tangled covers, do I qualify as a "Handicapped Sub-Gauge" Woodcock Shooter??

Why yes, that would be good for 21 3/4 birds. Now if you were also a cross-eyed release trigger trap shooter you’d be good for 30 15/32 birds.
