Default The More Things Change The More They Stay The Same

If I had posted this in the “Off Topic” forum, only PGCA members could read it but I think everybody should be reminded that common sense will prevail.

This excerpt is as pertinent today as it was when Corey Ford wrote it back in the 1950’s.

From “Uncle Perk’s Jug” pub. 1962

and absolutely - heck- there was an effort (I believe lead by the Church) to ban crossbows in the middle ages

as the song title says "everything old is new again"

thanks

and that last line could be -pick one - t-shirt, bumper or poster

I grew up reading the antics of the Lower Forty Shooting, Angling an Inside Straight Club. Corey Ford was an excellent writer, his story The Road to Tinkhantown may very well be the finest bit of outdoor writing in existence.
