Do not polish for several reasons. One , Dremel tool polishing is dangerous to the engraving, two, polished metal on a Parker looks cheap and out of place and IMHO , not at all acceptable.

If the metal is merely "dull" you can try a Frontier pad and some Hoppes. Or just the pad. Do NOT use any form of buffer or compound. Actually, this job is better left to a pro since basic disassembly yields the best results.

Don't do it. Someone polished the received on my Trojan before I got it and I'd pay a lot to have those case colors back !

Leave it… it will wear over time to your better liking.
Here's my D 10 ga. Lifter. I bought it like this because the price was right and I've been thinking of how to rectify it for 10 years. .
