That is a very interesting gun! I was not aware that AH Fox offered anotehr model other than the first Sterlingworths with the recessed hinge pin. But this gun would predate those.
And that trigger plate is neat for a fox. Now that gun could easily be mistaken for a Parker sitting on a rack.

the Philadelphia Gun was an Ansley H Fox design, not an AH Fox Gun company product.
the company changed names and location of incorporation several times in the first couple years. check the pre Fox Gun links on the Fox Collectors site for the round about trip to the AH Fox gun made in Philadelphia. small point - and no doubt the cosmetics of this gun would have cause confusion - and some trademark complaints I would guess
