I only have these sort of issues when posting from my iphone. Usually they want to tip on their side. But I find if I do any sort of editing to them, even just a crop, they will not flip.
Maybe try saving your photos upside down and then they will flip upright when posting.??

I agree with Brian’s experience. I edit about all of my pictures. When you do this you ‘save’ the picture when you have finished. When you post that saved picture it will/should always be right side up.

I have had the same issue and in all cases I believe it is due to taking pictures on my iPhone or iPad. Both are set to auto rotate so I can read in portrait or landscape mode. When I take pictures especially pointing down which I do most of the time when taking pictures of my guns. The camera button sometimes moves to the bottom or the side. I think this is where the pictures end up on there side despite when you view them in your Pictures area they look correct.
I have fixed tipped pictures on my postings as well as for others by doing the following. Using my iPad I hold down on the image with your finger that has been posted. You will get a pop up menu. One option is SAVE IMAGE. Tap that option and picture will be saved in your photos. Tap on image and you can view it. Hit Edit in the top right corner. A menu pops up on the left side of photo. Find a small box with 2 rotating arrows and tap it. A small box with one rotating arrow will pop up at the top left of the screen. Each time you tap the box the picture will rotate 90 degrees. Just tap until the picture is in the position you want and then tap the word Done on the side of the box to save it. It will now post correctly. I’m posting the picture of the 1 1/2 to 3 frame for comparison from that posting. I hope this helps and is not too confusing. |
