I am looking at a forecast of warm temperatures, light Southwest winds, and minimal precipitation, described as occurring in the "p.m.".
As the shoot usually takes place from the a.m. into mid-day, it seems favorable for sportsmen, sportswomen, gun show-and-tellers, camp cooks, and other can-do outdoor types. .

Sara:
Thanks. And we will need those for quick energy, since we are all high energy people. To round out some of our our minimum daily requirements, I am bringing some fresh, cut, salad vegatables, with a choice of dresssings.

sounds like a great time, great group of people, wish I could be there.

The NYE shoot was a success, with mostly cloudy skies and temps in the mid to upper 40s... maybe 50. We had a fairly good turnout, mixed with the regular Saturday trap shooters. The trap field, modern skeet field, and 5-stand were all open for use.
1 - Our lunchtime spread. Venison Chili by Bill Janelle Salsa and Chips by Bob Weeman Veggies and dressing by Russell Cleary 2 - Sugar cookies by Sara LeFever (orange and green clays ) 3 - Squad on the modern skeet field. 4 - Scott Kittredge busting a clay. 5 - Bill Janelle taking a shot. |

1 - Frank Cronin showing us how it's done.
2 - Dean Romig lining up the low house. 3 - Did you see that? 4 - Shotgun sports! 5 - Definitely Major Waldron's very own chair. Rumored to be made of Indian scalps. |
