I am looking at a forecast of warm temperatures, light Southwest winds, and minimal precipitation, described as occurring in the "p.m.".

As the shoot usually takes place from the a.m. into mid-day, it seems favorable for sportsmen, sportswomen, gun show-and-tellers, camp cooks, and other can-do outdoor types.

The weather looks to be good for those planning on coming to Major Waldrons tomorrow, 12/31. Cloudy with a high temp of 55 deg. Showers are predicted to hold off until 5PM.

Shooting commences at 9AM.

Thanks. And we will need those for quick energy, since we are all high energy people.

To round out some of our our minimum daily requirements, I am bringing some fresh, cut, salad vegatables, with a choice of dresssings.

sounds like a great time, great group of people, wish I could be there.
Sara, sugar cookies are my favorite--especially soft ones.

The NYE shoot was a success, with mostly cloudy skies and temps in the mid to upper 40s... maybe 50. We had a fairly good turnout, mixed with the regular Saturday trap shooters. The trap field, modern skeet field, and 5-stand were all open for use.

1 - Our lunchtime spread.
Venison Chili by Bill Janelle
Salsa and Chips by Bob Weeman
Veggies and dressing by Russell Cleary
2 - Sugar cookies by Sara LeFever (orange and green clays )
3 - Squad on the modern skeet field.
4 - Scott Kittredge busting a clay.
5 - Bill Janelle taking a shot.

1 - Frank Cronin showing us how it's done.
2 - Dean Romig lining up the low house.
3 - Did you see that?
4 - Shotgun sports!
5 - Definitely Major Waldron's very own chair. Rumored to be made of Indian scalps.
