Default RST Nice shot 2 1/2 shells in Fox Sterlingworth

I bought the shells in the pic for Chukar hunting. I had planned to use them in a Fox Sterlingworth with IC/M chokes.

I read that Nice shot produces high pressure. Would these loads be safe in the Sterlingworth in your opinion?

Best,
Brett

The powder would cause the pressure. Call RST and they can tell ya all about them

Fox's are tough & strong, no problem shooting them. I shoot heavy loads in all of my all the time. All my also have 2 3/4in. chambers.

I loaded a lot of Nice Shot when it was around ( still have a couple pounds around here)
The rule of thumb was it added about 1500 when substituting for lead

I had some tested and they came in around there or a little bit less

I have some RST 16s left. I never doubted RST did their homework and developed a proper load

The NICE shot is inside a plastic shotcup. 1 ounce at 1225 speed is a 2-3/4 DE (dram equivalent) load in 16-gauge. Kind of a regular "low brass" Field load as used for hunting for over a century and before the more recent advent of 1125 and 1150 fps loads with less recoil.
