Whatever it was, it did not last long. Maybe a member bought it and will answer the question.

Very likely a scam. The seller is a brand new user. Only 3 poor photos and a poor description.

I agree with Brian. The listing is using photos from the GI listing below.

This was happening a TON a few years ago. I hope it is not becoming a thing again.

No rating, no "other items", no history. I think he pulled it down. He is within the rules if he claims someone took advantage of the "buy it now". No one can dispute that claim.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, It's probably a duck.

Default WINCHESTER A1 special 12 GA listed on GI

It was on GI from the people at Guns Dot Com. You can never get any questions answered by anyone there that knows anything. And to boot Guns Dot Com listed it in the;
Category - Winchester Collectible Firearms - Winchester Shotguns.

But, it looks like somebody rolled the dice and bought it.

The scammer was giving a clue by his listing name. Joker.

A couple times I actually killed a few scam listings by hitting the buy now on them and then immediately leaving negative feedback and reporting the sale as a scam. Once the profile has a negative rating, it will alert anyone else in the future. There was no issues on my end.
