Brett, did you view the SN personally? I noticed the hinge pin does not have a slot in it which I assume was a Trojan thing? If this is all correct someone went to a lot of trouble to make an AAH out of a Trojan......

I don't think I am going to step on any toes with a link. I called to verify the SN and was told there were 10 people in line for the gun and the first caller was on his way to pick it up.

Thoughts on how this came to be? Maybe a mistake in the book?

I have been hoping whoever bought it would be on here telling us all what it really is ! I contacted them very early but to no avail ,I know it is unbelievable but so far no return call or E Mail !!! Of course I knew there wouldn't be !

That is a 1913 serial number, long before the Brothers P began offering a beavertail forearm. Certainly, didn't leave Meriden as an AAH.

I notice the jackasses at Cabela's conveniently neglected to show areas of the gun that would give us some clues. Oh, well.
