I found that factoid in The Parker Story, page 353. Mentions 238 Grade 7 guns made in all gauges, three with Damascus.

Could have been Anschutz, and I think William Gough was active in that period as well.

I can't believe that's the same hand that engraved what I'm sure are Anschutz engraved dogs on some of my guns from the early 1920s in which the dogs are depicted with strong, simplified contours, little modeling of form, and oversized and oddly positioned eyes. That engraving on Phil's gun looks like my 1918 DHE and the beautifully engraved guns that Craig shared. If Gough was active at the end of the 1910s, it is more than likely his.

In any event, that engraving on Phil's guns is some of Parker's best.
