Rare rare gun with two 28 gauge barrels and one .410. Assume its all original.

Interesting that the .410 barrels were marked 0000 frame size.

While you’re most likely very correct I just have a hard time getting my mind wrapped around spending that amount for a Repro ! Not knocking the Repros as they seem to be very nice .

To my knowledge, all Parker Reproduction .410 barrel sets were stamped “0000” on the rear lug. This has led to some head scratching and confusion because there were two different sizes of .410s produced, yet all the barrel sets were stamped “0000”. Some were intended for the 28ga. 00-frame Repros as bi-gauge sets with a 15/16” firing pin spacing and some were made to fit the gauge-specific 0000-framed .410 Repros with a 13/16” firing pin spacing.

Although reportedly there were a couple of stand alone (not part of a 2 or 3-barrel set) .410 Repros produced on a 00-frame, I have yet to see one surface. Have you? If so, please reply here.

Greg, thanks for explaining the Repro .410 frame situation in very few words. Considering that this was a factory 3 barrel set, the price was very reasonable. Although we are in a bit of a slump lately, I have seen 28 gauge double trigger two barrel sets sell for $10,000.
