Default 12 ga 2 bbl set Q1/Q2, IC/M 3"

Just received a nice 12 ga 2 bbl set. Pretty excited about this Repro, looks to be perhaps unfired. 26" Q1/Q2, 28" IC/M, both marked 2 3/4" & 3". Number 1 and 2 on forend lugs. Decent wood and nice straight grain through the wrist. Pistol grip, splinter and single trigger. 7lb 4oz with 28" barrels. I would have preferred double triggers but may end up liking a single with gloves on and I was most excited about the choke combinations. I guess it's not a SSS since not marked as such but seems to have most of the characteristics. Hope to try it out, 3 weeks of duck season left.

I wouldn't call that "nice" wood. That's great looking wood with those mineral streaks running through it!

I have the exact same gun only mine has been totally redone with real case colors, checkering recut, stock oil finished, and trigger adjusted. Love how this gun shoots and you will too. The 28" IC and Mod barrels are awesome.

Sorry it took me a while. I just snapped a few with my phone. Not the best quality but it will give you an idea of how it looks after the refinish. Notice the borders on the checkering

Wow, that looks great Gerry. The case colors are beautiful and that checkering enhancement is really nice. Who did the work?
Thanks for taking time to post the pictures.

Mr. Bachelder did the work on this gun some time ago. The original owner said he bought the gun new and then sent it to Mr. Bachelder and had it done. I believe looking at the finish on the gun that it is Tru-Oil finish. I'm sure there was a little staining done on the stock as well as it has a slightly red tint which I think looks nice. The trigger was also adjusted and gold plated which looks nice and the trigger is as nice as any single trigger I've had. All in all a very nice gun. You know I've never even fired the Q1 & Q2 barrels. I put the longer barrels on when I bought the gun just to see how they felt and took it to the skeet field. Broke a 24 with it and have had them on ever since. Don't know when I'll ever hunt with the gun, but if I ever decide to go after Pheasant this will be the perfect gun.

That would be the perfect combo for me A pheasant and duck gun and change barrels to woodcock and grouse. I'd be set
