Default Fly Fishing & Wingshooting Expo

If your in the NE Pa. area Feb 24 & 25, there is a Fly Fishing and Wingshooting Expo at the Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony Pa. Jay Shachter of Vintage Firarms, Inc. will have tables set up. I'm not a fly fisherman or wingshooter but it will be interesting to go to the show.

They have a large ad in Shooting Sportsman Magazine. I plan on going, about 2hrs away.

Too far for me to go, as much as I would like to go...

Too far for me too, and I need something to bust me out of these mid-winter post-holiday blues!

The show may be 1 hour from us. Not sure if I'm going yet. Might help at the RGS booth.

Would love to go, but is at least 7 hour drive--and I am only 5 miles from the Pa border. Looks like an interesting show
Thanks for helping with RGS booth Mike , I have been the founder and the chairman of the Upper Ohio Valley Chapter since 1986--32 years as chairman, and probably will be until I say, no more!!

Man, this is far out. Would have loved to go, though.

I was there today. Nice, well orchestrated show with a good mix of exhibitors. There were quite a few fishing and dog people set up but I was mainly interested in the double gun aspect and visited with Vintage Firearms, Robin Hollow, Steve Cobb, RST and Ernie Hausmann. Morris had Spiller's Parker on display. None of the double gun associations had a presence, at least I didn't see any booths. Talked with several new to me gents looking over Foxes and Parkers at the gun tables and was surprised, none I talked with were signed up with either association. The show drew perhaps a different slice of sportspeople than we see at SxS shoots. Might be fertile ground to enlist new members in the future. Some vintage SxS's were being walked around for sale.

Here are two pics taken this morning. Our man Chuck is next to Jay's tables in the second one.
