Default Looking for display table ideas

I searched the archives and did not find too much. I am trying to determine how best to display 3 Parkers and 2 O/U guns. Possible a few more guns if I can fit them. I saw Dean's incredible room, but don't have space or budget for anything that elaborate. I have a safe, but want these to be closer to me when I am home. Security is a consideration, but I will put them in the safe when I am out of town.
Any thoughts on where I can look for ideas, or photos of existing set ups?

I would also consider a wall mount or stand up case, if I can find a neat set up.
Any help is appreciated. TIA

This setup really does it for me. Maybe someday... Long Room at Kevin's in Thomasville, Ga.

Darrell:

Try the "Parker Display" thread of 1-23-21 in this, the General Discussions section.

Some really nice displays.

That's the first one I saw and drooled over. A bit more than I can tackle at this point. I was hoping I could find a gun safe with ballistic or similar glass or polycarbonate. But so far, no luck.

One of these days I will have a good suggestion. For now, I am in the “planning stage” too

If I understand your thoughts, consider the racks like Gary Carmichael uses to display multiple guns, I think three, you could make some of those and they really show off your guns. No security, they don’t take up a lot of room and would store easily. He shows one in the thread Russell mentions. I think I remember Gay uses them for some of his displays.

I am thankful for the helpful comments and the other thread from Dean. I think I am going to have a 6 gun case built for display and put the rest back in a locked room. For security, I am going to have polycarbonate glass in front, and a locking bar across the middle of the guns, with a hole up top for the barrels to fit through. Pretty good security, although still a risk. I simply need to be able to see these guns to help me keep smiling. Thanks for the input.

You could make something like this I suppose, or buy it. Not really a table top display.

This is a rotating rack I made since the room is full and the wall space is non-existent.

Wayne,
That is a very nice stand you have there. I have 1 of John Hosford’s rotating stands and would like to buy another, but I pause every time when I remember how much they cost.
I think I could handle the wood work but I have no idea where to get the steel center piece like you have. I like the centerpiece on top there, nice work!
