Andy, I'm not good at scrutinizing photos like some of the folks on the forum, but that looks to be a great gun in really nice condition. Have fun with it. I'd be honored to be the caretaker of a gun like that.

You mean those little dings in the wood and some loss of color? Come on... really? That just means you've got a fine hunting companion that's been there and done that and it can take care of itself. I think you need to put a few of your own little "warts" on her and that's going to take a lot of time and honest use. .

Very nice! From the photos, clean screws, stock looks sound with no pins or cracks, 28" 16 ga. on a #1frame, metal looks to be in good shape, appears to lock up correctly,what's not to like. Warts, HA!, not many! I think you did well on this one.

Thank you Keith. Damn, the whole process was nerve wracking to be honest. I guess I have to just keep learning through purchasing, eh? Like learning to appreciate fine wine, you just gotta keep drinking it.
