Default nice hike

Me Sam and BoJack went on a hunt for 2 hrs in one of my best spots didn't see a phesant found a quail roost. Sam got birdy but... The summer only left the super birds alive so in a couple years you may have to use criptionight instead of shot. Sam did pretty good for his first hunt for somebody besides himself. 16 Trojan nice to carrie, pulled a Calvin hunted second spot with empty gun. Put gun on dog box let dogs out got gun took off and away. ch

I have forgotten to load the gun befor myself. Once I didn't even bring shells and as I was using a 26 I couldn't bum a few either. I never missed a shot that day however

Not looking to top stupid stories but....... As a young man with a new bride and really trying to get her to consider/try/maybe enjoy hunting, I lined up a day that we would see if we couldn't find an elk in the foothills of the Rockies west of Nordeg Alberta. We lived in Edmonton at the time. Got up in the inky darkness and out to the car. Headed south and made it to Leduc when a very bad feeling started to come over me. The rifle was still at the house. So, we turned around, got the rifle and headed out again. (She should have understood back then that a life together might be filled with challenges). Lost a little over an hour, so we did not make it to my spot until the sun was shining. Lots more to the story of that day and it did not include a dead elk, nor did I convince her that she should become a huntress.

Cheers,
Jack
