Default Super Fox

Someone got a nice Super Fox this morning for $3250 hammer. The website bandwidth seemed to be clogged, and external bidders unable to participate?

That’s the second time they’ve sold that gun . It also has screw in chokes . They actually sold four guns they’d previously and failed to disclose the screw ins . A pair of NID 10 mags the HE and a 21 .

Thank you, I thought there were odd references in those descriptions, but I couldn't imagine they were describing screw in chokes - egad!

Someone probably butchered it to shoot NSCA registered clays with it. Takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent's Fritters.

I put low bids on both the NID’s but got neither . As said earlier they both had screw ins and both had single triggers with one being a marked Miller non selective trigger .

Craig, are you saying you didn't buy any of the guns in that auction?

I bought the two Ithaca Mags the first time around and there had been no mention of Briley choke tubes or cut barrels. I had asked prior to bidding for bore and choke measurements and they had no clue or the equipment to accomplish that. So, I took a chance! I did get a refund on the guns, but they had contracted with a local FFL for shipping who charged outrageous fees. I took a hit there but was happy to get my other payments refunded. I explained all the issues with the guns and offered to work with them on a corrected re-auction description. They were not at all interested. It proved to me once again that a hands on inspection by someone knowledgeable is essential.

Craig, You, and the inability to get into the auction, saved my bacon - I would still be after the Super Fox. Thanks

What auction house was this? I need to steer clear of it.
