Default Louisiana Ducks part 2

Also shot opening day and Sunday.I used a 16 gauge GHE with 30" barrels.Mixed bag.Redheads,teal,gadwal,wigeon.mallards.I shot geese the next morning north of Kaplan.A world of Specklebellys.Limit 2.Also with the 16 gauge.I am also going to shoot a 28 gauge on ducks wed.Edmund

thanks for the report sounds like a great hunt..im hoping to get to shoot a couple ducks here in north miss bout all we have in the duck line is wood ducks mallards and some local canadas but still a duck... ive only seen one redhead in my neck of the woods i hunted ducks a lot when i was young but have not hunted ducks in several years time gets away.... charlie

It was always amazing to me when we'd shoot redheads opening weekend in South Louisiana but I've seen it happen more than once. They're a traveling bird, there are still strong numbers on the big water here in Michigan right now.
