The Remington chrome-moly barrels seem to have a couple iterations. Besides the ones which bores measure larger, I also have a couple which measure near the nominal bore size. - 1936 DHE 16 gauge measures .665 or what we would expect - 1936 GHE 20 gauge which measures .620 or close to nominal (.615)

I have a June, 1939 GHE 16 that measures .670 in each barrel.

I have 2 ,VHE 12ga at .731 both barrels and a GH 12ga at.730 both barrels.

Yes, VHE is # 240845 ,GH is a 1899 gun that was sent back to Remington-Parker and had 1/2 frame barrels on it. It was a 1 frame Damascus. No writing on the rib of either gun.
