Russ
Attached some info from old Alliant power manual. May be of interest to you.
Yes I think this is a very small segment.

Bob:

Thanks, but I have one of their old manuals too. Nothing in there then or now for loads with 3/4-ounces of lead shot.

Aaron:

Thanks for the 16 Gauge Forum suggestion. Tried to register for it but fetched up on needing to learn a few more computer terms.

How did I get this far without knowing what my BB Code or HTML was?

If 3/4 oz loads are needed, I have a few. One is with International and some with Green Dot. I'll try and post them tomorrow.

Russell, here are some 3/4 oz loads. I shoot the 3/4 oz with International and the DR16 wad a lot. Trouble is DR16 wads about impossible to find now, but I still have about 800 of them.
All of these loads had been tested by Precision Reloading and were taken off the 16 Gauge Forum. use them if you like.

All the following loads are in a Cheddite 2 1/2" hull:

International 15.9 gr, ched 209, DR16--1150fps @6200psi
International 16.6 gr, ched 209, DR16--1200fps @6700psi

GreenDot 13.6 gr, ched 209, DR16 1109fps@6900fps
GreenDot 14 gr, ched 209, SG16 wad 1076fps@5600psi
GreenDot 15.5, ched 209 SG16 wad 1177fps@7333psi

Rem(RGL) black game load 2 3/4"--but they run shorter
20/ 28 15.5gr, ched 209, DR16 , 1120fps@6200fps
I've shot a lot of these and have upped it to 16 gr using both 7/8 and 3/4 oz

I was wondering about that Bluedot load recently
2 3/4 Federal Plastic Hi Power Shells with Paper Base Wad 1 1/8 - 1,295 Fed 209A Blue Dot SP 16 32gr 8,600psi

Im curious to what the pressures would be if you brought the velocity down to 1150.

Bob:

We have now been provided with some specific low-recoil 16-gauge load recipes by helpful members.

I sent you a Private Message with my contact info., should you wish to exchange results in producing or in field-testing the ammo.

I cannot locate 16 gauge 2 1/2 shells for my Parker anywhere. I have one box of RST shells I bought several years ago. I know nothing about reloading shells and prefer not to go down that lane. Any suggestions on where I can find the appropriate shells?

Dan, is your Parker damascus or fluid steel. If fluid steel, I would just be shooting any 1 oz load 1200 fps or under, and wouldnt worry. If damascus then yeah I shoot and load 2 1/2" shells.

Russ
I came across this in my reloading pile
It was issued by ballistic products under “loading Shortened Hulls”
Some 3/4 oz loads both folded and rolled crimp
