Locally, small gun stores just ad the cost of hazmat to EACH container of powder. I guess they feel justified as thats the "online cost" but when you see 1 lb for 47 or more..Thats ouch.
If the online venue will let you stock up, you definitely come out ahead but of course I would prefer to support the local guys. Thanks for the heads up. |

My last couple of grouse trips to New Hampshire I was able to stock up a bit but want to try the 20/28 so I swallowed hard and bought a couple pounds.

I really think you have to dollar cost average this stuff. Just keep buying because over time you'll make out fine. I think it was Warren Buffet who said "Don't time the market or your freedom" : )
