Default No guage stamped on barrel

I have a 1902, hammerless, SxS, serial #110505, 30", frame 2, weight 4, grade V with Vulcan steel barrels (VH series), with an original upgraded walnut stock and an overall condition of "Very Good". Certainly shootable.

I cannot find the guage of the gun and am also interested in an approximate value.

The gun was my great grandads and was used in Alaska during the gold rush to feed the miners.

Any info you can assist me with will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Unfortunately 110505 is not in the Serialization book.

Generally speaking, the 2-frame was used primarily as a 12 gauge gun... sure, other gauges used the beefy 2-frame but they were rare.

Nobody here can approximate a value for your gun without at least several pictures of various aspects of the gun - clear, high-res pictures.

There are however, surviving records upon which to base a PGCA Research Letter.

(pssst... join the PGCA and save yourself $20)
