Default SC Opening Day

Shot some doves opening day in SC. Used a Parker hammer gun for the first half. It did reasonably well, despite having no chokes. The birds flew high.

Good for you Mills!
The hammer guns take a little getting used to.

Do these birds just fly into feed or is there some other reason they are there?

My friend plants sunflowers, sorghum and a variety of other feeds for them.

You will note the picture of the sunflowers. That is one of a dove's favorite foods.
