Default Need help with my Parkers

I am very very very new to these types of older shotguns and have a bunch of firearms ive inherited. So far i have figured out i have 3 Trojans, 1 PH grade. Im looking to sell all of them but when i look up the Ph grade, blue book says 5,000. I see them listed for sale for less then 3500. can anyone help me with this?

I suggest you research Gunbroker (completed auctions), Guns International, Guns America, various auction houses (again look at the final sale prices). Try to find guns in the same gauge and approximate condition as yours. Learn how to tell if a gun has been modified or refinished etc. Remember, guns being offered for sale online or in shops are offered at the "asking" price and do not necessarily reflect the actual value in the market. That is why completed sales will give you a much better idea of the market value.
Thanks for visiting the forum, but don't expect anyone to just spout out some values for you. There are just too many variables. Good luck with your research and perhaps in the process you'll gain an appreciation of the guns themselves.

the advice above is very accurate

the blue book- not so much

there are a lot of inflated prices on the guns listed on the on line sites- look at what has sold to get your values
and pay close attention to the pictures and descriptions to find matches to your guns, some sellers are - shall we say - creative when it comes to the descriptions.

Like if your PH happens to be in 8 gauge, or .410, it could even exceed $5K.

Post some pictures and some details and people here will be able to help you more. One thing, you have to be a member of PGCA in order to advertise guns for sale on here, so be aware of that.

yes I'm not trying to sell on here just to figure out some things. I'm having trouble figuring out how to post pictures on here.

Just click on 'Go Advanced' when you go to reply, then go down to 'Manage Attachments' and click on it. From there, 'Browse' to find the pics in your computer.

Hello Jon;
My name is Jack and just today I posted a WTB for a Trojan in minimum VG condition. If you're still thinking about selling your Trojans, send me a PM and let me know about them.
