Welcome Kirk,
Nice GH. Do you know who did the case color and other restoration work?

I was told the restoration was done by Mark Beasland and it was re-colored by John Gillette of Classic Guns, Inc.

Only thing I'm not a big fan off is the full checkering on the forend, also would of rather had 28" barrels.

Otherwise I'm really happy with the purchase.

Can't wait to get in the mail, need to order some RST shells.

Welcome
We have a lot of great members from Michigan you will come to know.
I like the checkering on the fore end, though not usual on a GH.

Kirk - I think you need to go to Paul Harm's shoot in Lapeer in May. You'll meet a bunch of Parkerphiles there

Kirk I see your from Flint and the LaPeer shoot isn't far I don't think. It's a great time you might want to consider it. Then there is the Freeland Sportsman club shoot on Aril 16. Both great venues relatively close by.

I may have to look into that, Lapeer is only about a 20-25 minute drive.

Quite a few of us will be there. There is usually a Parker table set up and lots of guns on display. It's a good time and a very nice shoot.

Kirk,

Please see the Lapeer SxS thread in the Events forum. Also search for Lapeer to see many photos of past events. Lapeer is May 14th. $50 includes lots of shooting and a steak dinner!

Freeland is also a good rendezvous. It is April 16th. Hope to see you at both shoots.

Mark
