Default Parker "short stop" triggers

I was looking at a set of spare triggers and noticed they were called "short stop" triggers. What is the deal with the "short stop"? Was this what the normal double triggers for the hammerless guns were called?
Thanks,
John

I've never heard the term of short stop triggers. Hopefully someone will enlighten both of us about these type triggers.

I’ve never heard the term either. Some people just make stuff up to fit their narrative.

Why would anyone need a spare set of triggers on a Parker anyway?

They were from Numrichs gun parts. They appear to be a regular set of double triggers...

Default shortstop

They are for a shooter between second base and third base.
