Let’s face it; very few of us attend side by side shoots to “win” the prize. Oh, it would be nice to place first but most of us go to the Yooper, Hidden Hollow, the Southern, Vintagers, and local events for the camaraderie of like minded persons.

Desert and breakfast pastries were made in the town of Channing’s SECRET pie factory. Rumor has it that it is a CIA operation because they bake and sell wonderful pies and ice cream in the very back of the little town’s bait shop. Hey, I don’t make this stuff up!

Finally, there were a few prize winners to include Dennis in the center, a fellow Marine, who won the overall match! Dennis shot a 67 of 76 in the flurry! Oh, the young lady holding a 30” 16 gauge Fox Sterlingworth won it as the top of the 2nd Division Lewis Class. Larry Brown and I shot the same overall score as she but missed the prize gun by…
