Mike my friend, I'm happy you posted about your Parkers; I read your post that "old dry wood" has been a non-issue for your Parkers. Good to know as I've gotten into Parkers. I'm one to shoot traditional/regular loads whether for clays or heavy for hunting and I've never had that concern over decades while shooting many Foxes with same a whole lot.

We’ll, any maker’s gun can split and crack. As for my experience, I had two guns have a cheek break off while shooting. One was a BSS that had (unbeknownst to me) previously been repaired. The second was an A grade Fox 16g.

The young man would be downgrading his shooting iron if he shot what you want him to shoot. Your "friend" is very confused. Just saying.

We had nine participants in total and I think a good time was had by all !
Craig,

I wanted to Thank You for providing trophies, of course it's not all about the trophies, but I think we would be lying if we didn't say we tried a little harder when there's a trophy to be had.

Me and Shane sure enjoyed the comradery of shooting with all the fine gentlemen who shot the BIG GUN EVENT again

Stan

Thanks Stan ! I’ve always thought it made it a little more intresting if there’s something to be won !
