Geoffroy is a great guy and an exceptionally talented artist.

Dean, good luck on your search. I remember when you posted it for sale and by the time I thought I "needed" that sweet 16 lifter it was sold.

I did get back a gun I sold once so there is always hope.

I almost think Geoffroy could engrave those Woodcock with his eyes closed.

PS. He has done one very nice upgrade for me and will be tackling a trashed Fox CE 20 gauge as soon as its ready. Really good guy.

Dean, did you look through your PMs to find your conversations with the buyer?

Oddly, and because of my negligence, Scott Kittredge looked way back in my posts and found the name of the gentleman who bought it.

I have contacted him but have not received a reply yet.

He has replied very graciously that he's not ready to let it go but assured me that if/when he does it will come back this way.

I went through this same thing after buying my 6#10oz #1-frame damascus 26" GHE12 gun from a member. He begged to buy it back. Didn't work. It's a stunning grouse/woodcock/chukar gun over pointiing dogs in hvy cover. Of all the Parkers I've owned it is v near if not at the top as a favorite for the hunting I generally do. I bought another gun for that kind of hunting that is also a favorite but which I would part with - a 24" PHE16 that I paid way too much for. It sure is good in hvy cover and doesn't blow birds to smithereens. I hope you get your gun back Dean. This would be a good time for you to have it back.... "comfort food" as it were.....
